Set in the midst of the unique Australian landscape is the McWilliam's Hanwood Estate Winery. Established in 1917, the winery stands today as a pillar of winemaking excellence dedicated to creating the very best wines.
Designed by Glen McWilliam, the unique barrel-shaped Cellar Door was completed in 1973 and built to the scale of a wine barrel, complete with staves and hoops. Inside the Cellar Door you will find a striking mural painted on the glass wall. The gardens outside the Cellar Door feature the bronze statue of JJ McWilliam, a tribute from the company he founded over one hundred years ago. The large lawn area offers ample space to sit, relax and have a picnic whilst taking in the winery views.
The Hanwood Barrel provides a great setting for a truly memorable wine tasting experience. We invite you to visit the Mc William’s Hanwood Estate Cellar Door and sample a selection of the award winning wines (RV friendly parking).
