The Week of Success Continues ...

McWilliam's Wines week of sucess continues with great results from the 2011 Limestone Coast Wine Show.

Continuing to prove it's a standout wine, the 2008 Brand's Laira Blockers Cabernet Sauvignon has collected another gold medal. It's impressive tally now stands at one trophy and five gold medals!

-       Trophy: 2011 Sydney International Wine Competition

-       Gold: 2011 Sydney International Wine Competition

-       Gold: 2010 Royal Adelaide Wine Show, Class 23

-       Gold: 2009 Royal Queensland Wine Show, Class 15

-       Gold: 2011 Mundus Vini Wine Show

-       Gold: 2011 Limestone Wine Show, Class 201

In addition to the show results, the wine scored 95 points from James Halliday in the 2012 Australian Wine Companion . With this kind of success, the wine has certainly established itself as one of Australia's top benchmark Coonawarra Cabernets.

Proving its pedigree, the follow-on 2009 vintage of Brand's Laira Blockers Cabernet Sauvignon also collected a gold medal at the 2011 Limestone Coast Wine Show. At the same show, the future release 2009 Brand's Laira The Patron Cabernet Sauvignon also took home a trophy and a gold medal.

And in news just in, the 2008 McWilliam's Morning Light Botrytis has been awarded another gold medal and trophy (tally now sits at five trophies and eight gold medals) at the Swan Hill Inland Wine Show. At the same show, McWilliam's Wines was also awarded the Most Successful Exhibitor Trophy.
